What variety of durian do you supply?+
Monthong (Golden Pillow), the most popular commercial durian variety. Sweet, mild, and consistent. Preferred by ice cream makers and pastry chefs. If you need Musang King or a different variety, message us on WhatsApp; we can source to order on larger volumes.
How is frozen durian shipped in the USA?+
Frozen freight from our Austin warehouse. Order cases online through DeliveredCold; pallet orders and larger freight lanes are quoted on WhatsApp.
What's the minimum order?+
Listed SKUs can be ordered online by the case through DeliveredCold. Pallet pricing is 120 cases with a 17% discount before freight; message us on WhatsApp for a freight quote.
Is there seed or fiber in the pulp?+
No. Our durian is deseeded and the fibrous membrane is removed before freezing. You get pure pulp ready to portion. This is what separates commercial-grade durian from consumer frozen durian.
How do I thaw frozen durian?+
Refrigerator overnight (12 hours) for full thaw. For faster prep, submerge sealed pack in cold water for 2–3 hours. Don't microwave or thaw at room temperature. Use within 5–7 days after thawing.
Where does your durian come from?+
Primarily Thailand (Monthong variety) and Vietnam. Harvest season runs May through August; we freeze at peak and ship year-round from Austin cold storage.
