Why frozen

Cane the moment it stopped growing. For a year.

Flash-freezing trades away the novelty of 'fresh' for three operator advantages that matter more: shelf life, consistency, and freight math.

01

12-month shelf life

Frozen stalks hold at 0°F for a full year without quality loss. Order a pallet, run through it over a quarter, never throw anything out.

02

Lot consistency

Fresh supply swings with the season. Frozen locks Brix, moisture, and aroma at the moment of peak. Your 12-month plan uses the same input, batch after batch.

03

Pallet math that works

Frozen consolidates. One pallet replaces weekly fresh deliveries and cuts freight per pound. Volume pricing kicks in at the pallet and scales to the container.

Bulk formats

From trial case to full container.

Four ways to buy frozen sugarcane, sized to where your business is.

Trial & low-volume accounts

22 lb cases

Peeled, pre-cut, flash-frozen stalks. Single-case orders for new customers or small juice bars qualifying the supply.

Standard wholesale

4+ case orders

The default for juice-bar chains and restaurants running cane-forward menus. Uses the same 22 lb case format with better volume pricing.

Volume pricing

Pallet loads · 120 cases

17% off wholesale pricing before freight, LTL freight from Austin, and a single delivery built for operators with frozen storage.

Distributor & distillery scale

Full 20-ft container

Origin pricing, direct-from-Vietnam coordination, 6–8 week lead. For distributors, co-packers, and production distilleries.

How it moves

One frozen chain, four steps.

From Bến Tre to your freezer without a warm break. Here's exactly what happens.

01

Cut at sunrise in Bến Tre

Farmers in the Mekong Delta cut mature stalks before peak heat. The cooler it's cut, the slower the oxidation starts.

02

Trim, wash, blast-freeze in 4 hours

Stalks go directly to our partner press house, are trimmed and washed, then dropped to −35°C. Total elapsed cut-to-frozen: under 4 hours.

03

Ocean freight, frozen, to Austin

Refrigerated containers cross the Pacific. Product never warms above −18°C between the press house and our Austin warehouse.

04

Frozen LTL to your freezer

Temperature-logged LTL freight from Austin to your door, 2 to 5 business days for most US locations. Frozen in, frozen out.

FAQ

What your freezer manager will ask.

How long does frozen sugarcane last?

12 months held at 0°F / −18°C or colder. After thawing, refrigerate and use within 5 to 7 days. Do not refreeze once thawed.

What's the minimum order for frozen sugarcane wholesale?

Single 22 lb case orders are available for new-customer qualification. Pallet orders are 120 cases and receive a 17% discount before freight. Container-load orders can ship direct from origin with 20 ft and 40 ft options and additional discounts.

How does the cold chain work from Austin?

We ship frozen LTL from our Austin warehouse using temperature-controlled carriers with dry-ice supplementation for longer zones. Every shipment includes a temperature log. Most US destinations arrive in 2 to 5 business days, frozen solid.

Do frozen stalks taste different from fresh?

Flash-frozen at −35°C within 4 hours of cut, they're indistinguishable in a blind taste test. What you lose is the fragility. Fresh cane needs to be used within 7 to 10 days; frozen gives you a year. Most juice bars run exclusively on frozen for this reason.

Are the stalks USDA-compliant?

Yes. Our frozen stalks have buds removed to meet USDA import requirements. Because we hold inventory in our Texas warehouse, you buy from a US entity. No customs, no import permits, no phyto documentation on your end.

Can I get frozen pressed juice in bulk too?

Yes. We supply 100% pressed sugarcane juice in 1 kg bags, 55-gallon drums, and 275-gallon IBC totes. Same flash-frozen provenance, formatted for kitchens, bars, or distilleries. See our distillery page for drum specs and bulk pricing.
