The 10 kg case is built around how a tea shop actually works: small thaws, tight freezer space, and drinks portioned by the gram.
Thaw one, hold nine
Each case packs ten 1 kg bags. Pull one bag the night before and thaw it in the fridge. It holds 5 to 7 days refrigerated while the other nine stay at 0°F for up to 12 months. Nothing gets tossed at closing time.
Half a cubic foot per case
A 10 kg case takes up roughly 0.5 cubic feet of freezer space. A full four-fruit lineup fits in about 2 cubic feet, the corner of a chest freezer. A standard 7 cubic foot chest freezer holds a dozen cases with room to spare.
Portion by the gram
A 1 kg bag is 20 to 25 drinks. Portion with a cheap gram scale instead of a scoop and every barista pours the same drink on every shift. Consistency is what keeps a fruit tea on the menu past its launch month.

The big frozen-fruit importers quote container minimums near 20,000 lb, which shuts independent tea shops out of real fruit. We already did the importing. Cases sit frozen in our Austin warehouse, so you buy one case, four cases, or a 120-case pallet at 17% off wholesale. Scale when the menu proves out, not before.

Fruit is cut, processed, and flash-frozen in Vietnam's Mekong Delta within hours of harvest, then never warms above -18°C between the press house and your freezer. You get the same Brix and the same color in February as in July. Locked-in consistency is what makes per-cup costing possible at all.

How much frozen fruit goes into one bubble tea drink?
A 16 oz fruit tea typically uses 40 to 50 g of juice or pulp, and a blended slush uses 60 to 80 g. At those doses a 10 kg case yields roughly 125 to 250 drinks. Fruit cost per cup lands between $0.28 for calamansi and $1.78 for durian, which keeps ingredient cost near or under 20% of a $5.75 to $8.50 menu price.
How do we store 10 kg cases in a small shop freezer?
Each case contains ten 1 kg packs and takes up roughly half a cubic foot, so a four-flavor lineup fits in about 2 cubic feet of freezer space. Keep sealed packs at 0°F for up to 12 months. Thaw one pack overnight in the fridge, hold it refrigerated, and use it within 5 to 7 days. Do not refreeze a thawed pack.
